I've noticed that sometimes the equipment's unique perk doesn't stay the same when I change it, it switches back to what it was before after I leave the inventory, and the game sometimes doesn't save correctly

I actually completely forgot to save the equipment's unique perk between sessions, that's insane.

It's fixed now, Thanks again!

Notice anything strange?

Weird... Do u remember what interactions lead to this?

I believe that I had bought the ice diamond replacement, and then I purchased the ice diamond as an extra weapon, I'm not sure, I'll try to recreate it to be sure

Might also want to think about changing how strong the effect is for the perk of being bellow 33% health and doubling regen and block, or regen and lifesteal, especially for aoe centered builds

Thanks for the feedback and suggestion!

It's fixed and I lowered the hp threshold for the x2 regen, lifesteal to 20% hope it feels better.

The game is alright, but kinda repetitive, grindy, so i didn't bother to buy much stuff with gold. It's my first roguelike.
Here's a video i made playing the game

the game sometimes thinks im holding a key down when im not

Registeing key clicks is built into Unity and this issue isn't common. Maybe try checking your keybinds in options, maybe you have extras or a faulty key.

The game is fun!

Seems you're mixing the low res sprites (8x8 or 16x16?) with the higher res ones in the game. I guess this is unusual and in my option it has a negative impact on the aesthetics. Are the low res sprites just placeholders or are you going to improve this?

Hey there, thanks for playing, glad to hear you had fun.

I mixed low res sprites with higher res ones due to lack of artwork(I'm not an artist myself). That being said the game is heavily inspired by Vampire Survivors which does the same thing and imo it contributes to its retro feel so I don't think ill be changing that, thanks for the suggestion tho!

Sooo. I liked at the end how the game tried its best to kill by the portal spamming but I did it. Its the warrior. That guy is OP. Once you have level 8 Boomerang, sword, and Uzi, its impossible to die.

Nice one, it was fun to play, reached around 7 minutes.

I like the setting, the soundtrack, and the direction of the art style.

I hope it is ok, if I would recommend adding the Pixel Perfect camera component, and if you are using a canvas, you can also enable Pixel Perfect there as well, to avoid these lines that are happening, when something is moving.

Hey glad you had fun!

I appreciate the recommendation on the pixel perfect camera/canvas, it does solve the issue with the lines but it also makes the movement appear a lot less smooth so u kinda lose the "breathing" effect and it just looks like laggy movement. Thanks for the recommendation anyway tho!

Good job mate! Nice version of vampier survivors

The game is great. I like the art. From what I remember the early parts were hard to understand, I thought you have to click to attack, but no, you just wait. The later parts of the game (Particularly Endgame) were very easy, the only hard part was the Odin Quest for not taking damage while killing 500 entities, though I haven't done any Fortuna's Quest.

Also, I think Ice Nova (but more like Super Nova) is a bit overpowered, the range on that weapon is too large, like the entire map large.

Anyhow, looking forward to the next updates!

Happy to hear you liked it!

Ice nova was broken but is fixed

Thanks for the feedback, it helps a lot!

Hey, it's me, the author of Lumberjack Survivor :) I played the game for a bit. I think it's really good. I really like the art & polish and some of the little twists, like the disappearing gems and the teleporting trader. The difficulty is pretty tough from the get go, but this is highly subjective. Personally I prefer it, I had issues with others complaining about too high difficulty in my game and now I have the opposite problem, lol. Will come to play more for sure, need to beat that first boss! And then I'll have even more feedback to share. I noticed just one technical issue, there's sometimes a black line between the tiles, one pixel wide. FYI about the lost progression, have been sovling the same issue...I'm sure you already figured it out, but if not give me a shout.

Hey, thanks for jumping over and the feedback! The difficulty does seem to be very subjective with different opinions about it, still not sure where to take it.
I(hopefully?) fixed the black line between tiles issue.
Thanks for the help with the lost progression, I'll leave the thread where you helped me out Here.

FUN!  The game mechanics are great in general, love the individual skillsets between characters. Because of the size and depth right now I didn't play past 6-8 masters per character, would have if this had more worlds and options. Looking forward to the update!

Thank you for playing! Really glad you enjoyed it :D
